Great Salt Lake Brine Shrimp Cooperative, Inc. (“Cooperative”) is the premier producer of high quality Artemia cysts (brine shrimp eggs) in the world.  Artemia cysts are used as live feed for larval-stage fish and shrimp in hatcheries in Europe, Asia, Central and South America, and around the world.  

The Cooperative was formed in 2006, when sixteen harvest companies joined together to create the Great Salt Lake Brine Shrimp Cooperative, Inc.  The Cooperative excels at harvesting and processing Artemia cysts directly from the world’s best source – Great Salt Lake and its lakeshore.  We use state-of-the-art equipment, innovative techniques and technology, and some of the industry’s most experienced personnel.
